When you hear the word, "truffle" or "truffle oil", you might immediately think of delicious and expensive food. Black Truffle Perfume

Truffle in Perfume

Truffles have been prized for thousands of years. In fact, in Ancient Rome, people had believed that truffles were created by lightning. The black truffle (sometimes called a black perigord) is harvested in late autumn in the Perigord region of France.

Add a bit of black truffle oil to any dish and immediately you'll sense the rich aroma it brings. The smell loved by people for ages it's not surprising that the perfume industry has adopted ways to incorporate it into perfume.

BLACK TRUFFLE PERFUMES

There are very few fragrances that feature black truffle oil in them, mostly because of the exclusivity of the ingredient. However, if you're interested in experiencing the aroma of black truffle in a perfume your best option would be Black Orchid or ALT.'s cheaper alternative, Truffle

Truffle features deep and heady base notes of black truffle, perfectly balanced with bergamot, and jasmine. This combination creates a zesty and slightly bitter aroma that creates a sense of exoticism.

Undoubtedly a truffle based perfume is an after-hours scent for the evening time. (Be aware Truffle is not best suited for the office unless you're trying to attract someone of course.)

Not sure if our inspired by Black Orchid fragrance, Truffle is for you? Try a sample size to see if it is something you like. However, be aware, it is very easy to get addicted to this unique and complex scent of black truffle. Don't say we didn't warn you.
