Immerse yourself in the vibrant heart of Japan with ALT. Fragrances' "Tokyo" from The Destination Collection. This fragrance is a tribute to the city's unique blend of ancient tradition and cutting-edge modernity, capturing the essence of Tokyo's dynamic energy and serene beauty in a bottle.

The journey begins with an invigorating burst of lemon, ginger, and orange – a trio of top notes that awaken the senses and encapsulate Tokyo's electrifying pulse. The fresh, zesty lemon, spicy warmth of ginger, and the sweet, uplifting orange combine to reflect the city's kaleidoscopic cityscapes and bustling streets.

As the scent unfolds, it reveals a heart of eucalyptus, apple, and bamboo. The cool, minty freshness of eucalyptus symbolizes Tokyo's lush gardens and green spaces, offering a moment of tranquility amidst the urban rush. The crisp, juicy apple echoes the city's penchant for perfection and innovation, while the bamboo adds a touch of elegance and strength, representing Tokyo's resilience and growth.

The fragrance then settles into a deeply comforting base of musk, patchouli, cedarwood, and amber. This rich and earthy foundation evokes the warmth of wooden architecture found in Tokyo's historic temples and the serene ambiance of its traditional tea houses. Musk adds a layer of sophistication, patchouli brings a grounding earthiness, cedarwood reflects the city's connection to nature, and amber provides a lingering sweetness, mirroring the lasting impressions Tokyo leaves on every visitor.

"Tokyo" by ALT. Fragrances is more than a fragrance; it's an experience. It invites you to dive into the heart of Tokyo, where ancient temples stand alongside towering skyscrapers, and tranquil parks are just steps away from bustling markets. Perfect for those who seek a scent that balances the exhilaration of urban exploration with moments of peaceful reflection, "Tokyo" transports you to this captivating city with every spritz.

Burst of citrus

I got this fragrance together with Capri and I love it. It is definitely the one you need if you love citrusy notes. The scent is not sweet, unisex and lasts hours!

I Had High Hopes

Tokyo was a blind buy for me. It has every scent note I love in my fragrances - which made me so excited about this purchase! But, upon receiving, it was not anything like I had imagined. Which was a bummer. I gave it a day, to see if it would grow on me - but ultimately it’s just not my scent. I sent back.

Clean, Light, True to Description, and Unique - Love It!

Top notes of "lemon, ginger, and orange" are absolutely there. It definitely comes in with a clean, lemon-y top note. I found it refreshing; my husband thought it smelled a little like Pinesol at first. The scent pretty quickly begins to dry down - "a heart of eucalyptus, apple, and bamboo" - to me really did smell bright, light, and not overpowering. Slightly feminine, I think, but still unisex. The final dry-down of "musk, patchouli, cedarwood, and amber" is slightly more masculine (but again, still unisex). I was nervous about the patchouli and musk, as I don't like those scents traditionally, but it was a perfect mix and I think the cedarwood and amber come out more by the end. I'd say the throw is normal/as expected, and it persisted close to the skin for many hours. I tend to usually wear very neutral scents (like cetalox and ambergris) and I felt like this was a perfect, slightly stronger yet still neutral addition to my perfume collection. I think it is great for casual wear as well as for fancier occasions, and a great all-year-round scent. And I love that its an original formula by ALT, so it doesn't smell like anything else out there. I'll definitely be buying more bottles. So excited to have found this!

Citrusy Fresh!

This scent is strong citrus. Definitely a Spring time cologne. Reading all the ingredients I thought I’d smell some variations but I only take in lemon zest. Still a fresh scent though!

Perfect Warm Weather Scent

This is a light citrusy scent that is perfect for warm weather. It’s very playful and not at all overwhelming. My biggest problem is that I have used half of the bottle already! This fragrance is one I will purchase again and again!

A Great Surprise

I liked the scent the minute I sprayed a little on my arm. However I couldn’t smell it 20 minutes later. I was disappointed. But a week later I tried it again before going out. I got 2 compliments that evening alone! I’ve been wearing it daily since then, and the compliments keep coming my way❤️. So thankful I tried it again!

Not for me

I don’t like to give low score reviews on perfumes because it’s such a personal taste. This perfume might be amazing for some people but not for me unfortunately.

Delicious Scent

I usually don't write reviews but I had to add my thoughts on this one. Tokyo is such a beautiful, delicious scent. It opens with a bright citrus lemony scent but the dry-down is not what I expected. It is soft and sort of powdery but also somewhat creamy. I absolutely LOVE this scent!
