I had never smelled the original but was looking for something different for summer. I stumbled on this one and figured I’d try the ALT version.

Unfortunately I have no prior knowledge to how the original Tom Ford cologne smells. But I can say that this is a refreshing beach vacation smell that lasts a good while. It’s settles in very nicely on your skin. The projection is a bit strong at the beginning, but then it dies off quickly to a normal projection. This was a calculated risk I took trying this brand. I think I’ll have another round ;)
