Very disappointed in this one. The woody/smokey fire pit scent is too overwhelming.
My wife and I love Tom Ford's exotic smelling Black Lacquer but the price is outrageous. The ALT version of this scent [Noir Varnish] is, of course, not as long-lasting as TF's but otherwise basically identical at 1/4 the price. Excellent job, ALT fragrances!
This is a good scent, slightly sweet, slightly a pleasant plastic scent. I’d define it as an industrial smell. I’d say this is great at work or for a lite night out. Unisex

I purchased Noir Varnish, when it arrived I noticed I could smell the perfume through the package, when I unwrapped the box everything from the outside thru the inside was entirely wet with the perfume, the scent is amazing, I reached out to customer service which they asked a few questions which I confirmed with pictures of the box plus the bottle, with 1-3 days I was informed another bottle of the noir varnish was on its way to me. I was very impressed with the customer service. I WILL continue doing my purchasing from ALT. Great company.

What a delight it was to have found the ALT version of this financially-out-of-reach fragrance. In my estimation, it exactly duplicates the original, no shortcuts! I have purchased 3 fragrances and honestly, each one is perfection. They may not linger quite as long, but so worth the price!
