Saved My Memories

This was exactly what I was looking for. The perfume this is based on (Replica's "Whispers in the Library") has been my signature scent since it was launched and I have many beautiful, important memories connected to it. It was discontinued this year and the sealed bottle I'd purchased last year to savour had already turned sour in the package.

Devastated, I started looking for alternatives and found this. It is identical after it develops! I'm so, so happy with this purchase and will absolutely be buying again.

Please, please never discontinue this scent! Thank you!

A great replica

I was dismayed when I found out Replica’s Whispers in the Library was discontinued and the prices for them online were outrageous. I heard good reviews for Novel and figured I’d give it a try, I’m glad I did. Novel isn’t an exact Replica of WITL but it’s pretty close and smells beautiful on its own. It is a slightly darker, more masculine version of WITL. I hope Alt never stops selling this beautiful fragrance. Vanilla is the main note in this fragrance without being too sweet. It does remind you of being in a library or second had bookstore.

This was recommended to me as a dupe of WITL and I’d say it’s even better as it lasts longer. I absolutely love it and recommend it for anyone that’s looking for a soft and grown up vanilla that has depth and a darkness to it.

One of my favorites so far. Never got to try “whispers in the library” but going into this one blind was a treat. It’s sweet but not too sweet with a nice woody undertone and just seems like a great all around all year long scent. Between shadow leather and this one I think I found my scents. Please don’t ever stop making this one.
