So the opening is very different from MYSLF, but as soon as it starts to dry down they become very similar. The opening of MYSLF is sweeter and so is the dry down. (I sprayed MYSLF on one wrist at Khols and Identity on the other. I had my wife smell both and she gave me a funny look and asked if they were different. I said yeah, and she looked confused. She said they're so similar.
My daughter had a similar reaction. My daughter preferred MYSLF, my wife preferred IDENTITY. Both agreed that Identity is slightly more masculine than MYSLF.
I bought Identity from the new location in International Mall, and I was very impressed by the number of fragrances there were to test.
Amanda was very quick to let me put my nose on other fragrances that were similar to anything I asked to smell, but I ultimately decided on Identity. The MYSELF dupe.
I have not smelled the YSL inspiration, but I immediately knew I wanted this fragrance.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I wish it had a little more longevity.
But for $40 for the 2 oz bottle, I don’t mind spraying liberally or often.
My wife, who smells my colognes all the time, even offered a compliment on this one!
So gentlemen… your wife will compliment you! Is there a better selling point than that?!

If I can speak on the smell of the fragrance it was 90% to the original. My only concern was it had a small particle inside the bottle so I threw it away I reached out to customer support and they made it right by sending me a new bottle

Me I own a YSL fragrance and know how well it smells. I bought ALT. Identity which is a dupe of YSL Myself and it smells so good. No hard chemical smell, it's not watered down. Smells amazing.
