Simply Noir

  • $45.00
Size

Simply Noir lies between the border of modernity and antiquity. Opening with a strong note of tea, sweet fig, and bergamot all with a slight supporting cedar wood undertone. Moving on to the early heart, the aromatic black tea accord depends, taking on a mildly smoky Tobac-like faucet blended with the underlying smell of wood. As Simply Noir dries down the gears shift as the aromatic tea accord vacates musk, gentle vetiver, and a touch of vanilla begin to appear to finish.

Didn’t hit the mark, but may try something else

I’m glad they have the option to test a sample. Noir 29 is my favorite LeLabo fragrance so I was really excited about this dupe. Unfortunately there is a sharp ping to this that over powers the other elements. It lacks the overall warmth that the original has. I personally just think this fragrance should be given a little more time to perfect.

Smells. So good !

I ordered this and was skeptical about the smell. I have the le lobo noir 29 and I happy to say that their version small almost exactly like the actual fragrance. Will definitely be ordering again.

Very close rendition of the original

I am happy to report that Simply Noir is extremely close to the original The Noir by Le Labo - and possibly even longer lasting. The only difference is that Simply Noir is slightly woodier in the opening while The Noir has a brighter bergamot note that clearly comes through. I have the original and upon comparison, the dry down is nearly identical. This is a unisex fragrance that, to my nose, has a subtle rose-like sweetness despite not having rose as a note. All in all, Simply Noir is 95% identical to the original and beautiful in its own right.
