Simply Noir lies between the border of modernity and antiquity. Opening with a strong note of tea, sweet fig, and bergamot all with a slight supporting cedar wood undertone. Moving on to the early heart, the aromatic black tea accord depends, taking on a mildly smoky Tobac-like faucet blended with the underlying smell of wood. As Simply Noir dries down the gears shift as the aromatic tea accord vacates musk, gentle vetiver, and a touch of vanilla begin to appear to finish.

Scent is spot on and it lasts all day! However, Im not a fan of the packaging. It looks cheap and the bottle leaks easily when traveling.
Let me just first start this off with WOW, this scent blew me away. I thought my previous two choices were good but this one takes the cake by a mile. Perfect for Friday nights.
Indistinguishable from Le labo. Amazing
On my skin, this read deep and musky, mysterious as it developed and I couldn't put my finger on whether or not I loved it. It had great staying power so I was able to revisit and rethink throughout the day. I ultimately decided it was a sultry nighttime scent, best to experience in close proximity to a lover.
With that in mind, I sprayed it on my husband's neck and was dizzy over it. On his skin it was pure passion, warm and inviting, begging for closeness. It won't be his everyday scent but it will be one we surprise each other with.
A little goes a long way.
Um. Por que is this in the female section? Looking at the notes, I thought "Oh this could be a good and fresh female scent." Wrong. It smells like mens cologne. Which is not a bad thing, per say, I just feel mislead. The good thing is, though, I only ordered a sample, so not too much damage to my dwindling bank account. Next time I shall properly read through the reviews before I make my purchase!
There was a candle scent made about 10 years ago by a major body and home fragrance store that was called Nook. This smells exactly like that candle. The scent conjures thoughts of being in an old medieval library sitting on a leather chair next to a fireplace with a leather-bound book sniffing the autumn breeze filled with crunchy fallen oak leaves on mossy earth wafting through the nearby stained-glass window. Not kidding. I am obsessed with this fragrance, am grateful it somehow found its way back to me and I will be buying the full size soon.
Love the smell!!! Stays on all day. I ALWAYS get compliments!
I have an original bottle of Le Labo The Noir 29. In my opinion, Simply Noir does not smell like it. But, it does share the same scent DNA. This smells more like a Noir 29 flanker to me. To me, Noir 29 has a smoother transition with the black tea notes, making the bitterness from the tea a bit lighter, enveloped by a full bodied fruity fig smell. The black tea notes are more in your face with Simply Noir, making it smell more campfire-y. Also with Simply Noir, I get a sort of green, spicy Christmas-y smell with a touch of buttered popcorn? That’s on my skin at least. If Noir 29 is a classy get together, Simply Noir is like that young fun cousin who first goes to a campfire with friends and then shows up to the holiday party with boozy fig candies and a diet coke. I prefer Le Labo, but I would not mind at all wearing Simply Noir when I travel or for something festive. Simply Noir has a way better atomizer, as well as projection and longevity.
This fragrance smells the same as the original perfume.
It’s ok but I am enjoying the truffle a whole lot more
